Originally based in Cocos and Malpelo, the 35m Bahamas Master has been part of the Master fleet since March 2018 and offers thrilling itineraries allowing divers to experience the best of Bahamas shark diving.
Accommodating just 16 guests in 8 comfortable cabins, the Bahamas Master provides personal service with excellent diving facilities and the chance to visit world famous sites including Tiger Beach, Bimini, Exuma Cays and Pig Beach, as well as getting up close and personal with tiger, lemon, Caribbean reef, great hammerhead, oceanic whitetip and bull sharks.

American Airlines flies from London to Freeport via Fort Lauderdale or Miami daily and flights take approximately 12 hours.
We recommend an overnight stay in Freeport prior to embarkation, in case of any flight changes or delays. Embarkation is 5pm and disembarkation is 10am on your departing day.

Accommodation & Facilities
The Bahamas Master has 8 cabins in 3 rooms types. All cabins are comfortable and spacious with air-conditioning, picture windows and plenty of storage space. The 2 master cabins are located on the main deck and have ensuite bathrooms, double beds and flatscreen TV. The 2 twin cabins are located on the lower deck and have ensuite bathrooms and twin beds. The 4 standard twin cabins are located on the lower deck and share 2 bathrooms.
There is a spacious air-conditioned lounge located on the main deck with cosy sofas, flatscreen TV with entertainment system and dedicated indoor camera area with charging points. The upper deck has a large sundeck with loungers and deck chairs where you can relax between dives. There is also a spacious outdoor covered bar and dining area where delicious meals are served in a buffet style throughout the trip.
The large shaded dive deck has personal storage lockers for each diver, a camera table with a rinse tank and two freshwater showers. There is easy access to the water from the spacious dive platform with a ladder. Up to 4 dives per day are offered, sometimes with the 4th day dive being substituted for a night dive when the boat is anchored in a sheltered lagoon. On a 7 night itinerary you can expect between 18-20 dives, a 10 night itinerary allows up to 30 dives and the 14 night itinerary allows up to 4 dives per day including several night dives (depending on conditions). In some areas the diving is comparatively shallow and there will be an open platform policy to allow diving as and when you like between 8am and 10pm.
Bahamas Master trips depart from Freeport, Grand Bahama, on different days of the week. An average day on board the Bahamas Master would be as follows;

Scheduled dives are baited or feeding dives. On certain dive sites there is an open deck policy where guests can jump in to the water and watch the action as they wish.

The Dolphin and Tiger Shark Combo itinerary covers the best of the West End of Grand Bahama Island plus White Sands Ridge, famous for pods of dolphins and sharks including hammerheads, nurse sharks, lemon sharks, tiger sharks, and even bull sharks. Dive sites include Tiger Beach, Fish Tales, Lighthouse, Sugar Wreck and White Sands Ridge.
Tiger Beach Experience / 7 night
The Tiger Beach itinerary covers the best of the West End of Grand Bahama Island including Tiger Beach, Fish Tales, Lighthouse and Sugar Wreck. You can expect to see lots of sharks including hammerheads, nurse sharks, lemon sharks, tiger sharks, and even bull sharks.
Hammerhead and Tiger Shark Experience / 7 nights
The Hammerhead and Tiger Shark Experience covers the best of the West End of Grand Bahama Island plus the renowned Bimini Islands. Expect to see lots of sharks including hammerheads, nurse sharks, lemon sharks, tiger sharks, and even bull sharks, as well as dolphins, rays, grouper, turtles and octopus.
