Bahamas liveaboardDeparting weekly from Nassau, the Aqua Cat offers itineraries to the remote islands of the Exumas, specifically the Exumas Land and Sea Park, the most pristine area in the whole of the Bahamas, where diving includes coral walls, blue holes, fascinating wrecks and thrilling shark dives.
Operated by All Star Liveaboards, who have over 40 years experience offering diving liveaboards in the Bahamas, the 31m catamaran has a 35ft beam, allowing for ultimate comfort and space for up to 30 guests in some of the largest cabins of any liveaboard.

Getting there
British Airways flies from London to Nassau airport five times a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and flights take approximately 9 hours.
We recommend an overnight stay in Nassau prior to embarkation, in case of any flight changes or delays. Embarkation is from Hurricane Hole Marina on Paradise Island Nassau at 6pm. Disembarkation is at 9am on your departure day.

The Aqua Cat has 11 large and comfortable cabins located on the lower deck. All cabins have air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom with hot shower, hairdryer, towels, mini fridge and ample storage space. Cabins 1 and 2 have 2 sets of single bunk beds and accommodates 4 guests. Cabin 3 and 4 have 2 twins with an additional fold down berth which can accommodate 3 guests. Cabins 5, 6, 7 and 8 have 2 twins beds which can be made into a king double bed for couples. Cabins 9 and 10 have 1 queen and 1 twin bed which can accommodate 3 guests. Cabin 11 has 2 twin beds in a bunk style and can accommodate 2 guests.
There is a spacious air-conditioned lounge located on the upper deck with comfortable seating, onboard entertainment system, video/photo editing area and library. If you prefer the sunshine, there is a large sundeck with loungers, deck chairs, hammocks and barbecue area.
Meals are served in the informal dining area, located on the main deck and are a combination of Bahamian and American cuisine. The bar area offers soft drinks, rum punches and three different beers from a Bahamian micro brewery on tap. Snacks are served throughout the day and all drinks are complimentary during your stay onboard.
The large dive deck has individual storage lockers for each diver, a photo station with a large work area and outlets for battery charging, fresh water rinse sinks and showers. All diving is from the diving platform at the stern of the vessel, allowing divers to dive up to 5 times per day. The diving platform has specifically designed ladders making for easy and comfortable entry and exits.
Itineraries
Day 1
Boarding begins at around 6pm on Saturday and dinner is casual BBQ, followed by instructions and orientation. The first night will be spent in Paradise Island and the boat will depart at around 4am for Exumas on Sunday morning.
Day 2 – 6
Early departure from the port heading to the pristine Exumas, enjoy incredible sunsets and breathtaking scenery. Many sites are frequented by Caribbean Reef Sharks, Nurse Sharks and Hammerheads. At least one shark feed is offered on each trip.
The Exuma Cays also offers opportunities to go ashore to explore and enjoy the uninhabited beaches. In addition to the incredible scuba diving and snorkelling, you will have the opportunity to explore the 365 mostly uninhabited islands of the Exumas including visiting the iguanas on Allan’s Cay or the Swimming Pigs at Pig Island
Dive sites include – Nassau: Lost Blue Hole, Periwinkle Reef. Exumas: Amberjack Reef, Austin Smith Wreck, Barracuda Shoals, Cracked Coral Head, Jeep Reef, Pillar Wall, The Washing Machine, Wax Cut Drift, Whale Shark Wall, Whale Tail Wall. Southwest Eleuthera: Cave Rock, Jake’s Hole, Monolith.
Day 7
Two dives will be offered on Friday and the last night will be spent in Nassau/Paradise Island with the Captain’s Farewell Cocktail party at 6pm.
Day 8
Check out is on Saturday before 9am and transfers to Nassau International Airport or onward accommodation.
