Accommodating just 16 divers, the Atlantis Azores is a spacious and comfortable luxury liveaboard offering a choice of itineraries throughout the year, showcasing the different areas of the Philippines depending on season.

Built in 1989 and recently refurbished, the Atlantis Azores is part of Atlantis Dive Resorts, which means high standards, exceptional service and world class international and Filipino cuisine during your stay on board.

Accommodation & Facilities

The Atlantis Azores has 7 deluxe staterooms located below deck. 6 offer a double bed with single overhead and 1 has a double bed only. The spacious owners suite is located on the upper deck with large picture windows and a double bed with single overhead. All cabins have air-conditioning, en-suite, hairdryer, toiletries, and are serviced daily.

The Atlantis Azores has various areas to relax and unwind. There is a partially covered sundeck with comfortable loungers, wet bar and hot tub, a comfortable saloon with flat screen TV, library and board games, and a large swimming platform with freshwater showers making it very easy to cool off or hop back in the water for a snorkel in between dives!

Meals are served in the large air-conditioned dining room and are freshly prepared to the high standard of the Atlantis Resorts. The snack and drink bar is open all day, providing hot drinks, fresh fruit juices, beer, spirits and wine together with a variety of snacks including homemade cookies, cakes, fresh fruit and pastries.

The huge dive deck allows each diver ample room. There is a three tier camera table, charging station, fresh water showers and personal storages areas. Most dives are from two zodiacs, with many itineraries featuring up to 5 dives a day.

Atlantis Azores Tubbataha Itinerary (Mid March – June only)

Tubbataha Reef is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and only accessible by liveaboard three months out of the year. These pristine reefs, located 100 miles offshore, are protected by rangers year round and made up of North and South Atolls and Jessie Beazley Reef. Divers can experience wonderful visibility and some of the best diving the Philippines has to offer from March until June each year.

Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park is home to no less than 573 species of fish, 373 species of corals, 11 species of sharks, 12 species of dolphins and whales, nestling hawksbill and green sea turtles.

Atlantis Azores Apo Reef & Wrecks of Coron Itinerary

Apo Reef & Wrecks of Coron
Running on alternate years, guests will enjoy exploring sunken WWII wrecks in Coron Bay and diving in Philippines second largest marine park, Apo Reef.

This charter starts with diving in Apo Reef, inaccessible to day boats from Mindoro Island, expect to see white tip sharks, spotted eagle rays, hawksbill turtles, bump head parrot fish and sea snakes.

We then spend several days around Coron and Busuanga, including various wrecks, averaging over 300 ft in length, all within recreational limits. The surrounding views of the volcanic vertical cliffs with crystal blue water are mesmerizing.

Atlantis Azores Visayas Safari

Visayas Safari
The Visayas are one of the three island groups in the Philippines, featuring incredible macro, stunning walls, whale sharks and thresher sharks.

Spend 7 magical nights diving at a different site each day, including the stunning walls of Cabilao, diving with whale sharks in Oslob, the healthy reefs of Sumilon Island, Malapascua’s Gato Island, its caverns are home of the protected sea crate and white tip sharks and a Malapascua favourite, Kimud Shoal, known for frequent sightings of thresher sharks. This itinerary is hard to beat if you want a wide variety of locations in a week. Easy cruises each evening will take you from one great dive site to another.

This Itinerary departs from our Dumaguete resort making it ideal for a resort extension with no additional transfers or mid-trip interruptions. This trip can be extended into 10 or 12 nights.

Spend a longer time in the Visayas, one of the most beautiful and bio-diverse regions in Asia.

The Visayas are one of the three island groups in the Philippines, featuring incredible macro, stunning walls, whale sharks and thresher sharks.

This itinerary includes 10 magical nights diving at a different site each day, including the stunning walls of Cabilao, Malapascua’s incredible diving including Gato Island, home of the protected sea crate and white tip sharks, Kalanggaman Island with its magical sandbar and nearby islets, and a Malapascua favourite, Kimud Shoal, known for frequent sightings of thresher sharks. Continuing onto Bohol, including Anda, Panglao and the sanctuary of Balicasag, with a grand finale of diving with whale sharks in Oslob and the reef of Sumilon.

This itinerary is hard to beat if you want to dive into the best spots of the Visayas. Easy cruises each evening will take you from one great dive site to another.
