Maldives liveaboard

The Blue Force Fleet operate two liveaboards in the Maldives: Blue Force One and Blue Force Three.

Launched in late 2019, the Blue Force 3 comfortably accommodates 26 guests and offers a high level of service in elegant surroundings.

Operating 7, 10 and 11 night itineraries, the Blue Force 3 is an excellent choice for divers of all levels of experience looking to explore some of the Maldives finest diving spots.

There is ample room onboard to relax when not diving, including 2 wide sundecks, comfortable interior lounge and outside bar. Meals are served buffet style in the sociable dining room with endless snacks provided throughout the day.

Diving is from the 23m dhoni, where air compressor, nitrox membrane and dive equipment is stored. The Blue Force 3 is also completely rebreather friendly.

Getting there
Getting to the Maldives is pretty straightforward with many quality carriers stopping once en-route to Male. The most popular airlines tend to be Emirates, Qatar and Etihad who each have a short transit and arrive into your destination at a sensible hour. There are direct flights with British Airways from November to March from Gatwick, but only 3 days per week. The flight time is around 11 hours to Male from London. 

Guide price: 7 nights from £1512 per person
Includes: Full board accommodation in atriple cabin, return airport transfers, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, diving and use of tank & weights, nitrox (for those qualified).

Excludes: International flights, domestic flights, alcoholic beverages, cruise taxes (USD $185 per person to be paid on board), Green Tax (USD $6 per person per night to be paid on board), service tax ($150 per person to be paid on board), crew gratuities and travel/dive insurance.

The 12 spacious cabins are located over 3 decks. All cabins have air-conditioning, en-suite, safe, hairdryer and towels. The lower deck has 4 double cabins with 1 queen and 1 single bed, and 2 triple cabins with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bunkbed. On the boat’s main deck you will find 2 double cabins with 1 queen and 1 single bed. The upper deck features 4 double cabins with 1 queen and 1 single bed together with large windows providing stunning sea views.

The Blue Force 3 never feels crowded. Guests can relax on the large shaded deck space or take a nap in the sunshine on one of the sundecks which are located at the stern and bow. There is also a comfortable interior lounge and dining area where buffets of European and local cuisine is served. Stand-up paddleboards, surf boards and kayaks are also available for those wanting some exercise before watching the sunset with a drink from the open-air bar.

Newly launched in 2020 is the 23m dive dhoni, from which all diving is conducted. The dhoni is very spacious for kitting up and has Aluminum S80 tanks DIN/ INT, plus the option to rent the larger S100 tanks. There are 3 Compressors and a 2 Membrane NITROX system. It is also equipped with Oxygen and a defibrillator. In addition to the dive dhoni, there is also a tender boat (dinghy).
