Quick Guide: Galapagos Aggressor III

  • 32m length
  • Max 16 passengers
  • 4 Lower Deck Twin Deluxe Staterooms
  • 4 Upper Deck Twin/Double Master Staterooms
  • Recommended diver level: PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent with minimum 25 dives

Accommodation & Facilities

All 8 spacious cabins have ensuite bathrooms with hot shower, toiletries, hairdryer, fresh towels and linen upon request, individual climate control, plenty of storage and TV with media player.  The 4 Deluxe Staterooms are located on the lower deck and have 2 single beds and port hole windows.  The 4 Master Staterooms are located on the upper deck with picture windows and 2 single beds that can be converted into a double queen sized bed, ideal for couples.

During your surface interval you can relax in one of the many deck chairs or sun loungers on the large, partially covered sun-deck, or hop into the hot tub for a quick soak.  Alternatively there is a comfortable air-conditioned lounge with sofas, computer – complete with photo facility for downloading photos, TV and DVD, books, magazines and games.

Meal times are a good chance to socialise with your fellow divers in the large, comfortable dining and bar area.  With varied menus of international and local cuisines, breakfasts are cooked to order, lunches are varied buffets of fresh breads, hot soups, salads and sandwiches, and evening meals are prepared by the chef and served at your table.  Snacks, tea, coffee/water, soft drinks, fruit juices, wine and beer are also complimentary throughout your stay on board, although for environmental reasons soft drinks in plastic bottles are not permitted

Most diving is from inflatable tender boats which allow for easy access to the dive sites, and are fully guided at all times. For ease, once you have finished your dive, you hand your weight belt and BCD to the crew and they then assist you into the boat.  The dive deck is large and spacious, with hot water showers and personal dive gear lockers.  There is also a camera table and separate rinse tank.

Diving in the Galapagos can be strenuous due to its currents and surge, varying water temperatures ranging between 18°C and 29°C, and diving from tenders. With this is mind, we recommend divers are advanced with a minimum of 100 logged dives.
