Indo Siren

Raja Ampat liveaboard

The S/Y Indo Siren is part of the beautiful Siren Fleet of wooden diving yachts that have been designed with divers in mind. Built in 2011, the S/Y Indo Siren is 40m long and consists of 8 twin, well appointed cabins taking 16 divers in total.

During the Raja Ampat season (October – May) the S/Y Indo Siren runs 7 and 10 night trips to some of the most pristine dive sites on the planet.

Guests can enjoy meals in the open air at the rear of the boat, relax in the air conditioned saloon area, sun bath on the top deck or even get a relaxing massage from the resident masseuse!

The spacious dive deck is at the rear of the boat and each diver has their own dive stations and personal storage drawers as well as camera stations onboard.

All in all the S/Y Indo Siren is a firm favourite in the office with both Chris and Kim having been to Komodo on 7 and 10 night trips. The boat is beautifully crafted and with the added bonus of free hire equipment and Nitrox.

Getting there
The gateway to Raja Ampat is Sorong, which is the closest city to West Papua and where all of the liveaboards depart from. Direct flights operate out of Jakarta (4 hours), Manado (1 hour 15 mins) and Ambon (50 mins) to Sorong, giving you plenty of scope for stopovers and extensions. Getting to these destinations is fairly straightforward from the UK and usually involves one stop.

Embarkation is from 0700 to 1400 on day 1 of your liveaboard and transfers will be provided by the Mermaid fleet to the dock to meet the Mermaid II.
