Baa Atoll is a haven for snorkelers and scuba divers alike and was awarded a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve status in 2011. Thousands of mantas visit every year during the plankton boom months of June through to October where a large open ocean channel plays host to a plankton feeding frenzy.
Kihaa has 124 beautifully appointed villas and you feel a real sense of space both inside and outside of the villas. A stunning white sandy beach surrounds the island and there is a lovely house reef teaming with fish life, accessible from the beach in the crystal clear lagoon.
The resort has plenty of facilities to keep everyone entertained as well plenty of areas to relax and totally unwind. The over water K Spa is a popular spot to completely take in the beautiful sight of the Indian Ocean in complete serenity.

Getting there
Getting to the Maldives is pretty straightforward with many quality carriers stopping once en-route to Male. The most popular airlines tend to be Emirates, Qatar and Etihad who each have a short transit and arrive into your destination at a sensible hour. There are direct flights with British Airways from November to March from Gatwick, but only 3 days per week. The flight time is around 11 hours to Male from London.
Upon arrival in Male we arrange for you to be met by our ground representatives and shown to your domestic flight. The journey time is approx 20 minutes followed by a 10 minute boat transfer to the resort. We also liaise with the resort to arrange your domestic flight and transfer back to Male to tie in with your international flight or onward connection.

The resort comprises of 124 villas and suites in ten types of accommodation. All the rooms feature a king-size bed, outdoor rain shower, seperate shower and bath, free wifi, free bottled water, mini-fridge, electronic safe, coffee & tea making facilities, air-conditioning, hairdryer, iron, bathrobes, sofa bed, desk and flat screen TV with satellite channels.
The 48 Reserve Beach Villas are located in a quiet location among the vegetation, offering ocean views and dotted around the entire island.. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and designed in a traditional Maldivian style with wooden floors and light coloured walls and fabrics. As well as the inclusions above, there is a private garden area with a wooden patio and beach chairs with direct access to the beach. Maximum occupancy is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
The 32 Lagoon Prestige Beach Villas have direct beach and lagoon access, and are light and elegant with outdoor patio area. These villas are located down the entire side of the island and offer even more space than the Reserve Beach Villas and Garden Villas. Maximum occupancy is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
The 18 Sunset Prestige Pavillion Beach Villas are even larger than the Lagoon Prestige Villas and are located down the other side of the island. Each villa has a fantastic beach front location as well as a private outdoor pavilion where you can enjoy romantic candlelit dinners or a massage treatment (both at extra cost).
The 10 Water Villas are situated directly on the crystal clear lagoon and are incredibly spacious. Each villa has a living area and plunge pool as well as direct access to the lagoon. Maximum occupancy is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

All meals are served in the Malaafaiy restaurant which is located right on the beach and offers a great selection of local and international dishes as well as a wide selection of beverages to enjoy. Sangu is the a la carte part of the island where you can enjoy a romantic and private dinner under the stars. The Raaveriya and Undhoali bars are located by the pools and offer snack and beverages all day, so you will never be hungry! The Hanifaru Bay Tea House is an elegant and relaxing space where tea and other refreshments are served as well as fine dining in the evenings. There is a also a wine lounge at Kihaa where guests can enjoy their favourite wines from around the world in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Kihaa Spa is the jewel in the crown of Kihaa and is somewhere where you can truly get away from it all and enjoy a range of treatments to ease all of your cares away. Located on the crystal clear water of the lagoon, the spa features spacious treatment areas, perfect for those to share indulgent relaxation time.

Go diving
The magnificent Hanifaru Bay is just minutes away and is one of the world’s premier spots for swimming with mantas. The remote Baa Atoll was granted a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in 2011 due to the incredible diversity in coral and fish life and there are numerous dive sites within easy reach of the resort.
The Ocean Dimensions dive centre caters for all levels of diver, is fully equipped with all of your hire needs and has a full programme of PADI courses that you can take and daily trips that are run to the 60 or so dive sites nearby.
