Mirihi is an intimate boutique resort surrounded by palm-fringed white sand beaches and a transparent turquoise lagoon. With only 37 villas and a barefoot policy throughout the entire resort, you can expect a relaxed atmosphere in luxurious desert island surroundings.
Located in South Ari Atoll, a 30 minute seaplane journey from Male, Mirihi is one of the smallest islands in the Maldives and has a spectacular house reef just a few metres from the shore.

Getting to the Maldives is pretty straightforward with many quality carriers stopping once en-route to Male. The most popular airlines tend to be Emirates, Qatar and Etihad who each have a short transit and arrive into your destination at a sensible hour. There are direct flights with British Airways from November to March from Gatwick, but only 3 days per week. The flight time is around 11 hours to Male from London.
Upon arrival in Male we arrange for you to be met by our ground representatives and shown to your seaplane transfer. The journey time is approx 25 minutes. We also liaise with the resort to arrange your seaplane transfer back to Male to tie in with your international flights or onward connection.

A perfect way to experience the best of the Maldives would be to combine your island stay with a liveaboard or another resort. As all our holidays are completely tailor-made this allows us to put together the perfect itinerary for you to suit your exact requirements.
The resort has a total of 37 villas in 3 room types. All villas include designer furnishing, king size or twin beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, sitting area with CD stereo system & iPod connector, fully stocked mini bar and Nespresso machine with a wide range of coffee blends.
The 6 beach villas are located on the beach front under the shade of palm trees. They have a private sundeck with sun loungers, open-air bathroom and direct access to the beach.
The 30 spacious water villas are located on the sunset or sunrise side of the island, giving stunning views from the private deck with gives direct access to the ocean.
The brand new 2-bedroom Overwater Suite is located directly over the house reef and accessed via its own jetty. The Suite consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious living area & huge outside deck.
Mirihi has four restaurants; the sand floored buffet restaurant, the Dhonveli, which serves a varied combination of international cuisine and local seafood. With only 8 tables, the Muraka creates an intimate atmosphere and serves a selection of seafood, lobster and angus beef which you can enjoy whilst watching the sunset from the decked terrace. The Ruhgandu is a small and unique Wine Lounge housing 300 wines and Champagnes from around the the world. Private dining is available here and special curry evenings created especially by the resorts Executive Chef. The Anba Bar is located on the beach and serves light snacks throughout the day. It is also home to the largest and most comprehensive collection of fine Rum in the Maldives.
The resort has a well equipped gym and fitness centre, yoga and meditation sessions, non-motorised watersports including kayaks, paddleboards, windsurfing and catamaran sailing and award winning spa offering a host of treatments. There are also many excursions which you can enjoy, such as island hopping, sunset dolphin cruise, sunrise fishing, private movie night on the beach, snorkelling safari and private island picnic.
The diving on Mirihi is run by the experienced and professional Ocean-Pro Dive Centre who offer unlimited diving on the resorts stunning house reef at anytime during the day or night. The reef stretches to almost 6km in length and can be accessed easily from the shore. The reef has excellent coral and fish life, the small wreck of the ‘Mirihi Madi-Ge’ and a deep blue area on the western side where mantas are a common sight.
There are over 40 dives sites accessible from the resort within 10 to 60 minutes by comfortable dive dhoni, with the dive centre offering two boat trips daily. Boat trips are organised to suit divers abilities, with deep dives, drift dives, night dives and shark dives being offered. There are several Manta Points and Grey Reef Shark sites, with December through to May being famous for manta and whale shark season.
All equipment is complimentary so there is no need to fill your suitcases with snorkels, wetsuits and dive gear.
