Getting to the Maldives is pretty straightforward with many quality carriers stopping once en-route to Male. The most popular airlines tend to be Emirates, Qatar and Etihad who each have a short transit and arrive into your destination at a sensible hour. There are direct flights with British Airways from November to March from Gatwick, but only 3 days per week. The flight time is around 11 hours to Male from London.
Upon arrival in Male we arrange for you to be met by our ground representatives and shown to your speedboat transfer. The journey time is approx 50 minutes. We also liaise with the resort to arrange your speedboat transfer back to Male to tie in with your international flights or onward connection.

Get some rest
The resort comprises of 116 villas in four types of accommodation. All the rooms feature a king-size bed, open-air bathroom, mini-fridge, electronic safe, coffee & tea making facilities, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, hairdryer, flat screen TV with satellite channels and an outdoor veranda/deck.
The 22 semi-detached Beach Villas are located on the beach, just a few steps from the lagoon with the islands lush vegetation providing privacy. The villas are bright and vibrant with private outdoor deck and sun loungers. Maximum occupancy is 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.
The 64 Deluxe Beach Villas have direct beach and lagoon access, and are light and elegant with outdoor veranda and daybed. Maximum occupancy is 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.
The 28 large Lagoon Villas offer their own plunge pool and deck with sun loungers, and have spectacular views of the turquoise lagoon and direct access to the ocean. Maximum occupancy is 2 adults.
The 2 Beach Suites with Pool are situated on the sunset side of the island and offer a spacious outdoor garden area and deck. Each suite comes with its own 20m² pool, beautiful views of the ocean and have direct access to the beach. Maximum occupancy is 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
Enjoy your stay
Helengeli’s all-inclusive package includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resorts main restaurant, The Spice, which serves a varied choice of local and international cuisine on live cooking stations. In addition, snacks are also served here daily from 4pm – 6.30pm.
The à la carte restaurant, Just Grill, is open for lunch and dinner, and serves fresh seafood and succulent meat in a lovely beachfront setting.
For drinks throughout the day, the poolside Helen’s Bar is a great choice and serves cocktails, wines, beers and spirits, along with soft drinks, bottled water, juice, tea and coffee.
When you are not enjoying the wonderful marine life of the Maldives, you can unwind at the Elena Spa, who offer a wide variety of spa treatments and rejuvenating therapies. Alternatively, there is a fully equipped gym, two swimming pools – one beachfront and one adult only, non-motorised water sports such as kayaks, pedalos and paddle boards and sunset fishing excursions.
The diving is run by Atmosphere AQUA Club who offer morning and afternoon twin tank dives from the comfortable dive dhoni’s, as well as full day trips and night dives. In addition to the over 30 nearby dive sites, from August through to November, manta rays can be seen on a cleaning station just 35 minutes from the resort From December through to April, the mantas move to the west side of the atoll, during this time the dive centre offers full day diving trips with lunch being provided onboard the boat.
Experienced divers can also take advantage of the unlimited diving on the resorts famous house reef. Helengeli is located between two deep channels, which form the largest water inlet of North Malé atoll and makes the reef team with life. Blacktip reef sharks, rays, groupers and octopus are a few of the highlights during the day, and at night, the reefs lobster cave comes alive. The house reef has eight entry points and runs close to the shore all round the island.
