Ocean Hunter III
Palau liveaboardAs the latest and most luxurious addition to the Ocean Hunter fleet, the Ocean Hunter III was built by divers for divers. This impressive 29m rigid hulled liveaboard has a shallow draft allowing easy access to sites inaccessible to most day boats and larger liveaboards. The professional crew provide a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with their warm hospitality and incredible local knowledge.
Comfortably accommodating just 16 guests, the Ocean Hunter III offers 7 and 10 night itineraries diving the beautiful sites of Palau including Blue Corner, German Channel and Chandelier Cave.

Accommodation & Facilities
The Ocean Hunter III has 8 spacious cabins in 3 room types. All cabins have air conditioning, ensuite bathroom, desk and chair, personal reading lights, ample storage space, towels, toiletries, bathrobes and hairdryer.
The 2 standard cabins and 4 deluxe cabins are located on the lower deck and have porthole windows. The standard cabins have one queen size bed with a single bunk above, and the deluxe cabins have a king size bed with single bunk above. The 2 master staterooms are located on the upper deck and have picture windows with a king size bed, large living space, mini bar, flat screen TV and entertainment system.
Between dives there is plenty of space to relax in the large air conditioned lounge which has cozy sofas, entertainment system, espresso machine, icemaker, mini-bar and computer room with email and photo/video editing services. There is also a huge sundeck with ample loungers, seating area and jacuzzi.
Meals are served in the spacious and sociable dining room located on the main deck, and includes international cuisines such as Palauan, Italian, Mediterranean, French and Japanese with lots of fresh vegetables and fruits. Snacks are served throughout the day and tea/coffee and water are complimentary. Soft drinks incur a small charge of $1.50 and $3.00 for beer. These charges go towards developing a much-needed recycling program in Palau for the disposal of the cans.
The expansive dive deck has personal dive stations for each diver with storage, freshwater showers, rinse tanks and a semi dry area with camera tables and charging points. Diving takes place from the large dive platform, where comfortable ladders make for simple entry and exit. The Ocean Hunter III is also unique by operating no maximum dive time or fixed dive schedule allowing you to choose just how much diving you want to do, which is made possible by the small number of guests on board – some divers have been known to make as many as seven dives per day whilst others stick to two.
