Getting to the Maldives is pretty straightforward with many quality carriers stopping once en-route to Male. The most popular airlines tend to be Emirates, Qatar and Etihad who each have a short transit and arrive into your destination at a sensible hour. There are direct flights with British Airways from November to March from London Gatwick, but only 3 days per week. The flight time is around 11 hours to Male from London.
Upon arrival in Male we arrange for you to be met by our ground representatives and shown to your seaplane or speedboat transfer. The journey time is approximately 45 mins by seaplane. We also liaise with the resort to arrange your speedboat transfer back to Male to tie in with your international flights or onward connections.

The resort has a total of 124 villas and suites rooms in 7 different room types. All villas and suites have a traditional design with a modern twist and were built using locally sourced and recycled materials.
The 20 Garden Villas are located on the east of the island amidst tropical vegetation and are very comfortable and spacious. The villas feature King or Twin beds, a terrace deck, sun loungers, mini bar, air conditioning, ceiling fan and wifi.
The 5 Two Bedroom Garden Suites are situated near the Garden Villas and have the same facilities, but with 2 bedrooms and a shared living room.
The 43 Deluxe Beach Villas are split either side of the main restaurant and bar at the north of the island and in the south-east. They are beautifully designed with tropical flair and perfect for couples looking for an idyllic beach location. All villas have the same facilities as the Garden Villas.
The 25 Deluxe Jacuzzi Beach Villas are located in 3 different parts of Reethi Faru next to the Deluxe Beach Villas, with the best beach front locations. They have the same facilities with the added luxury of a jacuzzi on the terrace.
The 6 Deluxe Two Bedroom Beach Suites are specifically designed for families or groups and situated on the north east of the island.
The 44 Water Villas are exclusive, private and spacious with a touch of luxury. The villas are designed to give you the best views of the Indian Ocean and reach out from the north western part of the island.
The 2 Bedroom Water Villa Suites are absolutely enormous and are the most exclusive room type on the island. Offering stunning views and beautifully designed, these villas also have a jacuzzi on the balcony to enjoy.
Enjoy your stay
Where ever you are at Reethi Faru there is somewhere to eat or drink from. There are 6 restaurants and 6 bars on the island to offer up sensational menus and a delicious assortment of beverages.
Meals are served in the main Vakaru restaurant which serves buffet food with a different theme every day. The restaurant is open and light with beautiful décor and even better global dishes to try. Dhiyavaru is located on stilts over the lagoon with 2 levels to enjoy the view from. It’s open 24hrs as a bar and restaurant and serves sumptuous a la carte dishes. Huvandhu Garden is the perfect place for a romantic meal for 2. Situated on the beach, this is exclusive fine dining at it’s best. Reethi Grill is an open air restaurant serving wood fired pizzas and grilled tandoori. Raalhu Café is at the poolside and serves up daytime snacks and small bites while the ‘Catch of the Day’ serves fresh seafood in a large group.
All 6 bars on the island have different themes and serve up refreshing beverages throughout the day.
Reethi Faru Sports Complex, is like a small country club and has a fully equipped gym, badminton, squash and tennis courts as well as table tennis and basketball.
The Water Sports Centre is one of the finest in the Maldives and has something for everyone. Being a new resort there is state of the art equipment here including; jet skis, canoes, kite surfing, surfing, jet pack, flyboarding and luxury catamarans. The centre also takes bookings for excursions including; snorkelling trips, sunset cruises, island hopping, and private beach picnics.
The Coconut Spa is tucked away on the west side of the island and is located within a coconut grove. The décor is soft and light and has a very relaxing feel. There are treatment rooms along with a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and relaxation area for your pleasure and a full treatment menu to choose from.
Sea Explorers manage the diving operation at Reethi Faru and having long been established at Reethi Beach, they provide a brilliant service and know this area very well. The 5 star dive centre has a fully stocked room full of the latest equipment which is available for hire as well as a range of programs including; dive courses, night dives, full day trips and single/twin tank boat trips.
There is a weekly dive & snorkel schedule where guests sign on depending on their level of ability, but all levels are catered for generously.
The house reef in Reethi Faru is excellent and is easily accessible from 8 different entry points on the beach. You can expect to see schools of fish, coral reefs, scorpion fish, puffer fish, turtles and even a ship wreck.
Being in the centre of Raa Atoll, Reethi Faru has great access to the east and the west of the atoll. Outside of the house reef there are around 40 dive sites that are within 10 – 45 mins by dhoni from Reethi Faru. The sites area mixture of channels, thilas, outer reefs and island reefs where you can see plenty of manta action, schooling fish, sharks and some very famous dive sites that deliver time and time again.
