Situated on the North-East coast of Bali, Siddhartha Ocean Front Resort & Spa is flanked by majestic Mount Agung on one side and the Ocean on the other. This beautifully designed resort incorporates traditional Balinese design throughout with a boutique feel. The bungalows are incredibly spacious and dotted around the resort’s beautifully manicured gardens. There are lovely cobbled walkways between the bungalows and public areas and a sense of calm surrounded by swaying palm trees and lapping of the waves.
There are 4 different room types which are all designed using wood and thatch. The natural surroundings create a peaceful environment and the outdoor bathrooms are a lovely touch. All meals are served in either the restaurant or by the pool on the beach and there is an international flair to the menu. The resort has the option to pre-book Half Board or Full Board basis at a very affordable price.
A real highlight of Siddhartha is the Six Elements Spa which is situated on right of the resort and is something to behold.
The outdoor infinity pool area is huge and welcoming with a snack bar and ocean views.
The diving here is a mixture of macro, wrecks, coral gardens and schooling fish. The world famous Liberty Wreck is nearby and there are various boat trips available to other sites nearby.

There are many flights to Denpasar from the UK with the most popular being via Singapore or Hong Kong. Flight time would be around 18 hours with transit. Siddhartha Ocean Front Resort & Spa is a 3 hr drive from Denpasar.

Bali is an excellent destination for a twin centre holidays. It takes a long time to get here so why not make the most of it! There are a range of accommodation options around Bali, from any of the Werner Lau dive resorts, to the cultural centre of Ubud and beach resorts in Sanur. There are also numerous liveaboard options taking in Komodo and Raja Ampat from either Bali or Labuan Bajo, so a combination of liveaboard and resort would be a perfect fit. Get some rest
The resort has a total of 32 rooms in 4 different room types. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities, terrace, minbar, safe and telephone.
The 7 Superior Bungalows are traditionally designed have a queen size bed as well as a semi-outdoor bathroom. The 18 Deluxe Bungalows have a queen bed, day bed many have ocean view. The 5 Ocean Front Deluxe Bungalows have a king size bed, day bed, large terrace with ocean views, tv, dvd and music system. There are also 3 enormous Villas with private pools!
Enjoy your stay
The restaurant is huge and beautifully designed in a traditional Balinese way with wood furnishings and a superb menu to choose from. There is a real sense of calm here with mood lighting, flowers and music.
The resort has a large outdoor infinity pool with many deckchairs to relax on, as well as a bar which serves light meals and snacks as well as a range of drinks. There is also a yoga area and gym, darts, table tennis and billiards. Souvenirs and essentials can be purchased from the full stocked shop on-site.
The Six Elements Spa is located on the side of the resort and is a true calming oasis. The treatment rooms are nestled within the landscaped gardens and represent the 6 elements. There is a range of treatments to choose from and the highlight is definitely the grotto carved from lava stone for a unique experience!
You can also book a variety of tours from the resort that take in the volcano, temples, rice fields, Ubud and the North Coast.
The diving operation is run by Werner Lau, who operate brilliant dive operations around the world, so you know that the operation will be very slick. The dive centre is 50m from the rocky beach and is large and well stocked for all of your hire equipment needs as well as a shop selling locally produced souvenirs and dive essentials.
There are diving opportunities from the shore to explore the house reef, which spreads over 350m and has 6 different entry and exit points. For sites that are further away the resort operates full day excursions by car and boat.
The best time to dive here is April – June and September to December where the conditions are generally calmer and the water temperatures tend to be 28 – 29 degrees. This region is best for macro sightings as well as coral gardens, wrecks and schooling fish.
