Taveuni
Page subtitle hereFiji’s ‘Garden Island’ is famous for having lush rainforests, volcanic peaks, secluded beaches and beautiful waterfalls as well as all manner of bird life and sweeping coconut plantations. Taveuni is Fiji’s 3rd largest island and with more than a third of the island covered by the Bouma National Heritage Park and world famous dive sites such as the Great White Wall and Rainbow Reef nearby you can really immerse yourself in nature.
The diving season here is all year round and you can expect different diving in the North and South of the island. There are lots of soft coral pinnacles and bommies with easy diving to be found in the North and high octane passages that attract sharks, rays and large schools of fish along with colourful hard corals in the South .
You can get to Taveuni by flight (1hr 30 from Nadi) or ferry depending on where you will be coming from and the resorts all arrange airport pick ups to ensure smooth transfers and a relaxed welcome.
